My chief desire is to remain a lifelong disciple of Christ. This means for me to live ‘In Christ’ through a living relationship with the Holy Spirit. My heart's desire is to be present to His presence and call each day. I don’t always achieve this, but it remains my deepest desire. I want to honour God in all I do. This begins in my marriage and family and extends out to every facet of my life. In striving for this end I hope to bring God's Kingdom into being wherever I am. This is also the place that I desire to lead others from.
I firmly believe that discipleship is the calling of every Christ follower. As a leader my desire is to show Jesus in my own life. I seek to be available as both model and mentor through my relationships to invite others to walk with Him also. Father God has shown me so much grace in my fifty odd years on this planet. As have many of His people as I have journeyed through life. My desire is to lead and live out of grace; to be a grace giver also.
I really value authenticity. Personally meeting Jesus as Lord and through Scripture discovering the amazing life he lived as a human being here on earth has grown this value. I am determined to also live authentically. I aim to be real, I will admit my faults, say sorry, and be open and vulnerable in such a way that encourages others to live authentically also. I believe that this is the only way to deeper relationship. I am honest, loyal, hardworking, and totally committed to hearing Father God’s call for me and following it through.
